Required qualification
Separate non-contact electrical parts, patient-contact parts and implantable uses. Patient-contact and implantable applications need the device manufacturer’s specific qualification plan and evidence; a generic metal or construction name does not establish a medical grade.
Material records to request
List the required composition, surface, lot traceability and cleanliness records with the drawing. The inquiry should identify the document scope needed for the device program.
