Inspection and Lot Documentation
Agree the inspection items before ordering: dimensions, electrical properties, surface condition and the layer or bond checks required for your product. The purchase specification should also identify the sampling plan, acceptance limits and documents needed with the shipment.

Incoming, process and release checks

Specify the report
State the product and drawing revision, measured characteristic, unit, test temperature or method, sampling plan and acceptance limit. For resistance, distinguish material resistivity from the finished conductor resistance and state the reference length and temperature.
Lot documentation
Request the certificate, inspection report or lot record needed for the order. A certificate of analysis or conformity should have its agreed scope; listing a test does not mean every coil receives that test.
