Standards scope referencesProduct questions
What is 0BB ribbon?
0BB ribbon is a PV ribbon used in zero-busbar solar module designs. It requires precise geometry, low mechanical stress and validation with the customer’s stringing process.
Is 0BB ribbon a standard drop-in replacement?
No. 0BB ribbon must be validated for cell layout, soldering temperature, peel strength, resistance, EL impact and module reliability before production use.
What information is needed for an RFQ?
Please provide cell technology, module layout, ribbon dimensions, coating alloy, stringer model, spool format, annual demand and target reliability tests.
